AI boyfriends? Chat GPT therapists? Robot dogs? Where does it end?  According to Tinder - very soon.  That’s what their latest Face Check feature is all about:  booting out the bots, ensuring users keep matching with only real humans - making for real connections. Not the wifi kind.

So we did what any human would do, and we launched the campaign with a stunt that shocked Toronto by getting an actual robot to go on dates with humans around the city.  From park picnics, to grabbing coffee, to ice cream at sunset. No cameras. No script. Just a real date, with a less-then-ideal mate. All to prove that there’s nothing that can replace real human connection.
